I have launched two new article sites that will bring you tons of targeted traffic if you think a little outside of the box and spend 10 minutes every-other day on each site. Both sites are article sites and as you know articles can be used several ways to drive traffic to your blogs or websites. I am going to provide you with a brief review of each site and then share a few ideas on how you can benefit from each site.

The first site is called  ”My Ezine World” and it is a niche e-zine article site that post articles in a wide range of niches and the articles are updated daily. You will note that in addition to aggregating  niches ranging from self improvement to politics, I have also created a category titled “Internet Marketing” with 22 subcategories - new categories will be added every month along with hundreds of new e-zine articles.

When it comes to sourcing popular content in the Internet and social media niches “Mashable” and “Tech Crunch” are among the best resources and both are closely followed. I have added an RSS feed for both of these powerful sites allowing you to source their articles on My Ezine World to bookmark, tweet to and help leverage to help you drive traffic.

If you are working in a niche that is not currently included on the site please leave a comment here or on the “Contact Us” form on the site and I will research your niche and the authority sites in the niche and consider adding it to My Ezine World.

Full access to the site is free and you can use as many articles as you need to maximize your viral marketing efforts.

Here are a few ways to leverage this site and drive traffic:

1. Post comments on the articles and include “deep links” with your comment registration. This means that you link to a related article within your blog, not just your home page URL. If you have not authored a post that is a perfect match, find something similar and link that post.

2. Copy the article URL and send it out with a Tweet.

3. Bookmark the articles that interest you on social bookmarking sites.

4. Write reviews on your blog on articles that interest you.

5. Post comments from the RSS feed for “Articles by James Holmes” and I will come by your site and return the favor. It is all about helping each other.

I recently posted a couple of articles concerning my investigation and review of Worldprofit and Dr. Jeffrey Lant. I received several comments in reply and a few email messages as well. Most of the comments centered on two facts concerning Worldprofit; the first is that the company has been online since 1994 and secondly, that Worldprofit has been accredited by the Better Business Bureau for 10 years. The later point typically has included the phrase “Is Worldprofit really Accredited by the Better Business Bureau.”

I thought it would be helpful to provide a little more detail about Worldprofit’s status with the Better Business Bureau and provide you with a link to the Edmonton BBB so that you can see Worldprofit’s reliability report and the details concerning their rating.

When evaluating Worldprofit or any business opportunity, it is critical that you do not accept reviews at face value and that you seek out documented facts and fewer opinions. I advise this course of action for one simple reason, when it comes to the success of any Internet business the quality of the program as well as the commitment of the buyer (you) are vitally important. There are times when “the business” fails because of the buyer didn’t take appropriate actions, work hard enough, or give the program enough time to produce results. It may have nothing to do with the company.

If you read reviews that focus more on personalities and less on facts, beware… the reviewer likely has an axe to grind. I have developed some really great friendships among my Internet Marketing peers, some I have met in person and an even larger number I have gotten to know through telephone conversations, Skype chats, email exchanges and live streams. All of these relationships have added value to my business and my  life and every now and then they produce some pretty cool experiences – just like friendships in the offline world.

Last Wednesday was one such occasion as I had a chance to jump onto “TE Live” hosted by Jon Olson and Tim Linden – the show airs weekdays on UStream TV.

My TE pal Lynn McCutcheon owner of Traffic Pro-X and all around awesome person, summed up my appearance on her blog as follows:

• James shared a lot of good input and insight on the discussion we were all having about the negativity in TE Land in general and some other great stuff (always great coming from James), and after we all talked about it all at length a little more, the mood changed a little bit and some of us talked about how those of us who still support what we know traffic exchanges can do probably need to work a little harder at trying to keep a more positive outlook on things TE-wise and keeping on trying to help teach people the right way to do things to get results (a la Affiliate Funnel, TE Live, etc.).
• We also found out James has a daughter who’s in college. I am still suspicious that he can’t possibly be old enough to have a daughter in college looking so young himself!
• James’ daughter was asking him about TE Live when she was there recently, and we had some discussion about the kids of TE Live. Tim and Jon were talking about going to get coffee and we all wondered why, when they both have kids there (as Jon’s son is visiting this week), they haven’t trained any of those kids to bring them their coffee.
• Tim went to get coffee with his headset on, so we could still hear him but couldn’t see him. Then we heard his coffee maker.
• Then when Tim got back, Jon went to get his coffee.
• James didn’t go get any coffee.
• I really don’t know what Jon’s doing here:

Lynn pretty accurately described the free for all… part serious and part totally random… just the way we like it!

When I first started participating in TE Live a few months ago, I was always waiting for the “presentation” to start… it never did and what has evolved is something far more valuable to the participants… the people who tune in every day. List building is largely a numbers game but many marketers forget that quality matters when it comes to earning revenue with your list. If you want to monetize your subscriber list you must first provide real value for your members for free and then within your funnel convert those subscribers to buyers.

The basic formula that I teach to achieve our objective is simply offering visitors to your websites and blog sites a high value item free as a reward for opting in, I refer to this as an ethical bribe. Keep in mind that this is a reflection on your brand and for your future customers it is their first sample of the quality and value you provide. As a result you want to give away some of your BEST information. If you give your new subscribers cheap or low value products and information, they have no reason to pay for what they will perceive to be more of the same. When you provide high value information as a free gift and continue to provide quality content through your auto-responder messages, you begin to build trust by establishing your expertise and you create a desire in your subscriber to obtain more of your content and a willingness to pay for the value they receive.
