Search Engines Revealed is a massive e-book packed with SEO secrets!

The second site in the SEO Experts Pro project is also site #3 of my 30 sites in 30 days November Big Harry Audacious Goal (BHAG), which has been detailed in prior posts on my blog. If you are not aware of what this crazy project is all about and the objectives I have set forth to add value for you and everyone else I engage with in my businesses. Be sure to read the prior post where I explain the entire vision for series of projects.

I created the Internet Business Blueprint to teach others how to create sales funnels and front-end offers that provides extreme value, build your list, and allows you to accomplish your specific major purpose for establishing a business online. Regardless if you are providing a product free of charge or severely under charging as I have done here with a $7 price tag on a book that sells online for forty-seven dollars.

I have written and published e-books as well as utilized private label rights products (PLR) to create high value offers for my customers and subscribers to my list. In this case I decided to provide an extreme value on an expertly written e-book on a very challenging topic… search engine optimization.

This project did not require too much effort, but that does not mean the outcome has any less impact for you and me. It certainly required that I learn a few new skills concerning HTML editing and a few other coding actions.

Here are three tips to consider when using PLR products:

1. Only buy quality PLR to ensure that the content is worthy of you placing your name on it.

2. Generally I would recommend heavily editing the content to ensure that it represents your point of view on the topic.

The amount of work that you will want to do when selling or giving away private label products or master resell rights products (MRR) depends on your purpose and what you wish to accomplish within your purpose. I have covered the gambit from heavily editing the content and revising the graphics to simply editing the sales or opt-in page as is the case here.

Here are the primary task I performed to complete this project:

1. Edited the sales page title to focus the message and catch the readers attention.

2. Edited the sales copy in order to reflect my message and update the sales page graphically.

3. Integrated the Belcher checkout button and Pay Pal check out process.

4. Integrated AWeber into the download process on the download page and added support details.

I love sharing this project with you because using PLR and MRR products provides you with an opportunity to efficiently publish information products to give away (to grow your list) and sell (to grow your bank account) and add value to your market.  The mental attitude to take when looking at PLR and MRR dictates that you are buying a research document and your job is to edit and finish the work before you place your name on it.

SEO Experts Pro Incorporates three sites about Search Engine Optimization

This is the second project under the umbrella of my 30 blogs in 30 days November Big Harry Audacious Goal (BHAG), which I have detailed in previous blog posts explaining my objectives in full and the completion of the first successful project Internet Marketing Professional. The details for the SEO Experts Pro project involves 3 websites; a blog, a information product sales page (and download page), and a SEO video hosting site with a library of over seven-thousand search engine optimization videos.

This post will cover the SEO Experts Pro blog with each of the other sites getting there own review.

Site #2 is SEO Experts Pro which is a WordPress blog in the highly competitive search engine optimization niche. This site was originally soft launched (released with little or no promotion) in January 2010 and due to other projects I placed this site on hold. When I conceived the project for this site I envisioned a blog that would host articles from many search engine optimization experts that would write occasionally as guest bloggers and focus on their area of expertise and deliver extreme value to my readers. This is still one of the primary objectives going forward.

I decided that this would be the perfect time to pick this project back up and complete it due to the fact that the rules continue to change and getting your websites highly ranked in search engines and maintaining those rankings requires forethought, planning, and continual adjustments… it is not a matter of just set it and forget it.

The value proposition of this program includes training, resources and tools for website owners and Internet marketers of all experience levels helping everyone better understand SEO.

Here are the primary task I performed to complete this project:

1. Converted all affiliate links and advertising links on the site.

2. Installed additional plug-ins to add functionality and security for the site.

3. Upgraded WordPress version and scheduled automated weekly back-ups.

4. Restructured the page navigation and side bar widgets.

5. Created content for all of the site pages including my about page, contact page, a video training archive, and an embed of my web-conference room.

6. Created a subscriber list in AWeber to include follow welcome and follow up messages and added a subscriber web-form to all of the site pages.

7. Integrated my AWeber list with my primary social media profiles.

8. Added social media integration and advanced commenting using Disqus.

9. Added an RSS feed reader widget posting titles from Matt Cutts.

10. Added images and information settings to:

** Facebook Page was launched 11-04-2011 and a simple Facebook profile in January 2010.

In addition to these revisions to the site, I also have put out another call for guest bloggers who are experts in the SEO niche.

I have monetized this project in three specific ways:

2. I have carefully selected SEO Moz and the SEO Book as the primary affiliate programs for the site.

Internet Marketing Professional Blog is Live!

 This is the first in a series of blog post… 30 in total which will detail my progress completing a Big Harry Audacious Goal (BHAG), which I detailed in a previous blog post. In short, I am creating one new website a day for thirty days and using this process as a teaching opportunity for you and a long-term value adding process for my customers, subscribers, and followers.

Site #1 is Internet Marketing Professional which is a WordPress blog centered on teaching others how to become a successful Internet marketers in the niche of affiliate marketing. This is a site that I acquired as a new project through Flippa from a very talented web designer. The teaching around this first project concerns how you can acquire and customize quality niche sites through Flippa and other auction websites.

I acquired the site and it was fully functional however all of the pages and post where generic so it was a blank canvas from a content and branding perspective. I was attracted to the graphics and the high converting Facebook Fan Page that provides a free course on video marketing in exchange for a “Like.” I highly recommend this list building method.

Here are 7 tips to enjoy superior results buying sites on Flippa:

1. Start with a purpose (what are you looking for?) and a budget (how much you can invest in the site)… be disciplined following both.

2. Carefully read the auction listings that meet your criteria and validate any claims made by the seller including income and traffic.

3. Don’t up bid yourself, wait until the day the auction closes to place your bid. If you draw attention to the site you are interested in by bidding multiple times over many days, you will draw the interest of other bidders and drive up the sale price.

4. Establish communication with the seller prior to bidding on the auction. Exchanging messages with the seller will give you a sense of how they will be to work with after you have won the auction.

5. Ask detailed questions prior to bidding and make sure all of your major points have been addressed. (tip: ask the seller to transfer the site hosting to your account).

6. Be prepared to act on a “buy now” auction if the instant purchase price is within 30% of your ideal price. If there are multiple bidders the site may sell for more than the “buy now” price.

7. Once you have successfully completed your transaction, let the seller know that you would like to preview sites prior to listing and be sure to “follow” the seller to be advised of future listings.

In this case the domain transfer and site transfer to my hosting account were done by the developer. This was not included in the auction, but was negotiated prior to the sale with the seller. The site had remained live and on hold prior to conceiving of the 30 day project.

 Here are the primary task I performed to complete this project:

1. Converted all affiliate links and advertising links on the site.

2. Installed additional plug-ins to add functionality and security for the site.

3. Upgraded WordPress version and scheduled automated weekly back-ups.

4. Restructured the page navigation and side bar widgets.

James Holmes is the Newest Talk Marketing Now Host

I love teaching and sharing what I have learned with others in order to fulfill my purpose as defined by my personal mission statement which is: “To sow increase into the lives of others by co-creating wealth and abundance.” Helping others create success online is a great way for me to make this ideal a reality.

Last week Brian Schilling, co-founder of Family Networker and a new friend invited me to guest host his weekly show on Talk Marketing Now Network (TMN). I really enjoyed hosting the show and I found the audience to very engaged. A quick survey revealed that most in attendees where intermediate to advanced marketers along with several newer marketers. At the end of the night it was clear to me that this was a group that I would love to get to know better.

What I liked about the group was the fact that everyone in the room was open minded and more interested in learning by sharing their “actual” experiences rather than trying to impress the other members in the room. This creates a fertile environment for growth and people walk away with actionable information that truly helps them inch closer to success. It is fun to share and teach a room of open minded marketers.

The following day I spoke with George Sepich the founder of Talk Marketing Now Network and is a respected marketer. Again, I was impressed and had a great conversation with George which concluded with an agreement that I would become the newest host on TMN. I see this as a huge opportunity to add value to the academy and gain value from the community… an opportunity for expansion.

Guess what I am giving myself for my Birthday?

My birthday is coming at the end of November and I have been thinking about doing something really audacious, a real BIG HAIRY AUDACIOUS GOAL (BHAG) to both celebrate my birthday and grow my businesses. I have long considered myself to be a big thinker… I am saying this for no other reason than to point out that big means BIG!

So, what am I giving myself for my birthday? How about one new income site a day for 30 days… yes, thirty new sites designed to provide value for my customers, subscribers, and followers. I am pulling together 30 of my best unused domain names and a couple that I picked up from the best aged domain source and putting sites on them in November.

I am a big believer in the idea of practicing what I preach and I preach two core concepts, think big and take one daily action that brings you closer to your ultimate goal. As I thought about what I could do to make the month special (I usually don’t), I felt that this would be the best way to provide value for others, lead by example, and advance 30 steps closer to my ultimate objective.

There are several objectives being met through this crazy “little” project:

1. Take massive daily action to grow a sustainable business

2. Fully leveraging my assets… these are really great domains

3. Solving problems and providing value for my customers and members

4. Proving to myself that I can focus on daily actions and create something significant

I will blog about this daily in order to share each new site with you and certainly share a business lesson or two at the same time. About one one third of these sites are partially finished, so in a few cases you may have seen the site before, unaware that it really wasn’t finished. A site is not complete unless it is properly structured, optimized for SEO, loaded with value, and fully monetized to ensure that you provide the value that leads to a successful website.

Today, I shared this project with the attendees and 6 members have agreed to become my daily accountability partners, it is great to make your big goals public for this purpose. Kaye Towne, Lael Johnson, Laurie Shepherd, Lori Sivage, Marilyn Martin, and Kay Brasher will encourage me and nudge me along… I am very grateful for their support and friendship.

Joseph & Abra Riley Now Need Your Help!

Joseph and Abra Riley own Forever Concepts traffic exchange and are based in Sidney, Australia. They embarked on a trip of a lifetime visiting the United States to renew their wedding vows, visit a elderly relative, and meet many of their fellow traffic exchange owners across the Western United States.

During the trip Joseph became gravely ill as he had survived with one lung and continued to battle lung cancer. During their trip Joseph’s functioning lung collapsed and he passed away on October 12th while in a California hospital.

As a result of the extensive medical bills and inability to return home, Abra has been desperately trying to gain possession of Joseph body and make logistical arrangements to return home. In addition to several customs issues their is a $10,000 mortuary obligation that needs to be satisfied. There are no resources available to Mrs. Riley and therefore she has been in affect stranded.

 Steve Jobs slipped away from us, what did he mean to Tech and you?

I was deeply saddened by the news that Steve Jobs, co-founder of  Apple Computer, Inc., NEXT Computer, Pixar Entertainment, among other brands had lost his 8 year battle with Pancreatic Cancer and moved on to the next phase of his journey. More than creating great companies Steve Jobs changed the way we live and the way in which we engage with technology to improve our lives.

The news was reported with four simple words “Steve Jobs has died,” and it is fitting that millions learned of his death on a variety of devices that he by large measure created… what a legacy. I do not know much about the private Steve Jobs and will leave it to others more qualified to speak to his personal life.  My final thoughts and Personal Expression

There are thousands of expressions on the internet from people from all walks of life and from around the world. I agree with the view that Steve Jobs was a modern day Thomas Edison and was certainly a once in a generation innovator who transformed every industry he influenced and in doing so changed our world… he made it smaller.

I view his death as profoundly sad given his age and a remarkable life which he might have enjoyed for many more decades. I also recognize the loss of innovation and the thought of what might have been but never will be. His vision, creativity, and influenced are lost to future generations and that loss is immeasurable.

I also wish to offer my personal condolences to Steve Jobs’ family knowing the we have lost much and but they have lost much more. Thank you for the gift you have given the world by sharing his life and talents with us and supporting his desire to make personal sacrifices to fully realize his many visions. I am very grateful.

Facebook admits to tracking all of your online activity after you have logged out and what you can do about it.

I am not a Facebook Alarmist and I heavily use the site daily for both personal and business purposes. I am aware of the “known privacy risk” that exist and I do my best to be smart about how I use Facebook as most knowledgeable users are. The key here is known risk and there seems to be a steady stream of disclosures and a pattern of apologies coming from Facebook regarding privacy infringements experienced by it’s users.

I advocate for the use of Facebook, I believe it is an important site if your desire is to engage in social media to connect with family and friends or to grow your business and brand. I continue to teach that Facebook continues to be a key component to what I teach about establishing your online presence and cultivating an online community.

I recently read a blog posting by the staff at Global Grind, which addresses the work of Australian blogger Nik Cubrilovic and offered the following steps to ensure that your activities cannot be logged through the use of cookies:

1. Logout of Facebook.

2. Now that you’re logged out, you’ve got to clear cookies. The browser breakdown is below.

—If you’re on Firefox: Go to “Tools” in the top nav and select “Clear Recent History” from the list. A pop-up window will come up, now select “Cookies” and hit clear.

—If you’re on Chrome: Go to “Chrome” in the top nav and select “Clear Recent History” from the list. A pop-up window will come up, now select “Cookies” and clear them.

—If you’re on Safari: Go to “Safari” in the top nav and select “Reset Safari” from the list. A pop-up window will come up, now select “Cookies” and clear them.

—If you’re on Internet Explorer: Go to “Tools” in the right sidebar and select “Delete Browsing History” from the list. A pop-up window will come up, now select “Cookies” and clear them.

3. Once your cookies are cleared, you need to be sure to not click a “Like,” “Share” or “Connect” — really, anything related to Facebook — until you want to be logged back in. If you do this, you’ll be good to go!

Another easy solution is to always use a separate internet browser for Facebook. This can be tough though because saving passwords, auto-filling forms, etc. make using two browsers difficult. It’s up to you however, as it’s you that Facebook is watching!
